This pack is approximately 2/3s the capacity of our original "Overnighter" with additional exterior pockets.  I came up with this bag because a number of customers requested a smaller bag similar to the larger Overnighter.  In fact, this is the bag I carried on the road as an engineer.   The Overnighter II is popular with Engineers since they don't have to haul as much as the Conductors do.

  • Dimensions: 20” H x 11” W x 6” ...footprint approx. 14” x 11 “.
  • Full height open slash pocket on “back” side to allow custom padding or additional storage space to suit your needs.
  • Capacity: Approximately 2700 Cu. In. in two compartments and elastic topped side pockets.
  • Exterior zipper pocket and slash pocket for quick access to train lists, time tables, radio pack sets or any other items you may need during trip.
  • Two, large, open, elastic topped pouches on sides of bag for lanterns, thermos, shoes, etc.
  • Wide, closed cell foam, padded shoulder straps with super lock adjusters.
  • Two nylon carry straps with a hook and loop collector on top of bag so it can be easily carried like a traditional duffle type bag.
  • Two adjustable straps with side release buckles on "face" of bag that can be used to hold jackets etc.
  • Railroad tested!!!
